The Accounting Alchemy Network (AAN) is a group of like minded accounting professionals who have come together to discuss one core question: What can we do to make the accounting profession into a vehicle for positive change in our world? Currently the accounting profession is part of the problem. Occupational licensure sets up a system where “the rabbits are guarding the lettuce.” We are led by a small group of people who are profiting from maintaining the status quo: perpetuating unsustainable social, political, and economic systems that prohibit our culture from evolving in healthy ways.
We want to put our heads together in positive, collaborative discussions to innovate and shepherd forth a cultural shift in the accounting profession as a whole.
We are empowering accountants to transform our world. Our vision is to create a world where accounting professionals are a positive force in developing a sustainable & regenerative global ecosystem and culture.
